We watched the superbowl last night at a bar called Cheers at Picadilly Circus. It was part of the American chain, complete with pictures from the show and Fraiser DVDs on sale. Most of the people inside who weren't American had no idea what was going on, but cheered anyways. A few were wearing football jerseys, but very few from the teams actually playing in the Superbowl. They had English announcers telling everyone what was going on, and would sometimes try and relate it to something in rugby.

On Saturday, we went to the Tate Modern Museum of Modern Art. It's a great place, absolutely huge, with Picasso, Dali, etc. Its on the other side of the Thames, across the Millenium foot bridge. On the way, I took this picture, at the intersection of Grays Inn and Holbourn. I think its so funny, the Tudor building that is hundreds of years old, with the McDonald truck in front.

Cars come very small here. Its interesting, they have some of the same cars as home, and a lot different. They are some car companies that we don't have, and some cars that are different under the same companies we have. Some of the car companies will have different slogans here too. A lot of the commercials here are funny, they'll be the same ones as home, but dubbed with someone in a British accent.

Our study center is next door to the British Museum. It's an unbelieveable place, I really haven't gotten a chance to spend too much time inside yet, but at least we got to see the Rosetta Stone. All the Museums in London are free, so you can go in and out as you want, seeing as much as you feel like every day.
